Each year the Treasurer of the Authority is responsible for producing an annual Statement of Accounts.
 
This document presents the overall financial position of the Police Authority for a given year.
 
The accounts are produced in accordance with the Accounts & Audit (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and in the format recommended by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy in accordance with best accounting practice.
