South Wales Police Authority

Citizen's Panel

Citizen's Panel

As part of our consultation work, the Police Authority has a Citizen’s Panel, jointly with the Force, to find out views on policing issues in South Wales.

Run by an outside organisation to ensure independence, the Panel consists of around 3000 people, of all ages and ethnicities, who are sent questionnaires and asked to give their views.

Two in-depth surveys are sent out to the panel each year, which help to set policing priorities and budget, and measure confidence and satisfaction.

The results of the latest surveys are in the documents below.
